2. Money-Back Guarantee
Dashhosted offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for most of our hosting services. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund of your hosting fees.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- Shared Hosting plans
- VPS Hosting plans
- WordPress Hosting plans
- First-time purchases only (not applicable to renewals)
The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Dedicated Server Hosting plans (7-day money-back guarantee applies instead)
- Domain name registrations and renewals
- SSL certificates
- Add-on services
- Setup fees
- Administrative fees
3. Dedicated Server Refund Policy
For Dedicated Server Hosting plans, Dashhosted offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our Dedicated Server Hosting service within the first 7 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund of your hosting fees.
The 7-day period begins from the date your server is provisioned and you receive your login credentials, not from the date of payment.
4. Domain Name Refund Policy
Domain name registrations and renewals are non-refundable. When you purchase a domain name, it is registered immediately with the domain registrar, and we incur costs that cannot be recovered.
If a domain name is included for free with a hosting package and you later request a refund for the hosting package, the regular domain registration fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
5. Add-on Services Refund Policy
Additional services such as SSL certificates, premium support, backup services, and security features are non-refundable once activated or deployed.
If these services are bundled with a hosting package that is eligible for a refund, only the hosting portion will be refunded, and the value of the add-on services will be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Pro-rated Refunds
Outside of our money-back guarantee periods, Dashhosted may issue pro-rated refunds in certain circumstances:
- For annual, biennial, or triennial plans, if you cancel after the money-back guarantee period, we may issue a pro-rated refund for the unused months, less any applicable fees.
- Pro-rated refunds are calculated based on the regular monthly price of the service, not on any discounted rates received for longer commitment periods.
- Pro-rated refunds are issued at our discretion and may not be available for all service plans.
7. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Dashhosted customer portal.
- Navigate to the 'Support' section and open a new support ticket.
- Select 'Billing' as the department and 'Refund Request' as the subject.
- Provide details about your refund request, including your order number and reason for the refund.
- Our billing team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
Alternatively, you can email our billing department directly at billing@dashhosted.com with your refund request.
8. Refund Payment Method
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card.
- PayPal payments will be refunded to the same PayPal account.
- Bank transfers will be refunded to the originating bank account.
- For other payment methods, we may issue the refund as account credit or use an alternative method at our discretion.
Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process, but may take longer depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
9. Account Termination and Data Retention
When a refund is issued, your hosting account will be terminated, and all associated services will be canceled. Before requesting a refund, please ensure that you have backed up all your data, as we cannot guarantee data recovery after account termination.
After account termination:
- All website files, databases, and email data will be permanently deleted.
- Custom configurations and settings will be lost.
- Domain names that were included with the hosting package may be released or transferred, depending on the specific circumstances.
